Kazarlis Spyridon

Dr. Spyridon Kazarlis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in June 1966. He received the Dipl. Eng. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1990 and his PhD in the area of “Evolutionary Computation” from the same dept. in 1998. Since 2002 he is a professor in the Dept. of Informatics, Computers and Telecommunications of the International Hellenic University.
His research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Computational Intelligence, Evolvable Hardware, Rule-Based Maching Learning, Evolutionary Robotics, Constrained Optimization, Embedded Systems, Flying Drones and Autonomous Robot Path planning. Dr. Kazarlis is a member of IEEE and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society since 2006 and a member of Professional Engineers of Greece since 1990.
